Founded in 2010, SPTC was established as a joint venture between Saudi Transformers Co. Ltd. (holding 51%) and CG Power Systems Belgium (formerly Pauwels Trafo Belgium) (holding 49%). Through this partnership, SPTC benefited from advanced Pauwels technology under a licensing agreement with CG Power Systems Belgium. Today, more than 600 Pauwels-designed power transformers are in operation across Saudi Arabia, with capacities up to 500 MVA. The SPTC factory in Saudi Arabia represents the latest addition to the CG Power Systems global network, which spans facilities in Belgium, Ireland, Hungary, Canada, the USA, India, and Indonesia.
