Otat Bakliyat was founded by Mr. Cavit Memiş, who began his commercial journey in 1986 in Muş in the wholesale food sector and entered the pulses industry in Mersin in 1990. In 2005, he established his own factory and launched the Otat brand, which quickly grew into a reliable and export-oriented company in the pulses sector. The company operates a modern facility built on 18,125 m² of land, including 10,000 m² of closed space, a 2,000-ton silo, and a Red Lentil Processing Plant. Otat is rapidly progressing toward increasing its daily production capacity to 500 tons and exports to over 40 countries. Its product range includes rice, chickpeas, red and green lentils, beans, bulgur, peas, broad beans, wheat berries, and popcorn.
