TEKO Alüminyum San. A.Ş. was founded in 1974 by Kadir Mamati in Topkapı, Istanbul. Initially producing industrial aluminum foil products, TEKO expanded its product range by supplying packaging materials to the food and water sectors. To better meet market demands and expand into new markets, in 2004 TEKO decided to merge with Berca Metal Cap San. A.Ş., the first company of the group and the sector. Due to its strong brand image, the companies united under the TEKO brand. Under the Berca brand, the company manufactures metal and metal-plastic composite products for the pharmaceutical, food, oil, and beverage sectors.
