On behalf of the Bac Giang Province Foreign Affairs Unit of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, I would like to extend my sincere greetings to the Turkish business world. Bac Giang is located in the Northeast region of Vietnam, 50 km north of Hanoi, along the Lang Son - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai economic corridor. The total area of ​​the province is 3,895 km² and its population is approximately 1.9 million. In recent years, Bac Giang has experienced strong and comprehensive development in various areas. In particular, the economic growth rate and investment attractiveness of the province have enabled it to achieve great results by being among the leading settlements in the country. Currently, it hosts 492 Foreign Direct Investment projects with an accumulated capital of 7.14 billion USD. In the coming period, Bac Giang will develop industrial - urban - service zones as well as hospitals, schools, etc. according to international standards. It aims to attract investment in areas and meet the demand of residents and investors within and outside the province. We learned that Turkish businesses are looking for investment opportunities in Vietnam and that there are many successful Turkish investment projects in the country. In order to invite Turkish investment to Bac Giang, the Foreign Affairs Department of the province is honored to provide the following information to the Turkish business community. Bac Giang has an open and favorable business and investment environment. Thanks to our simplified administrative procedures, processing time has been shortened by 40-60% compared to the Government regulated standard. In particular, business registration can be issued within one day. We also established task forces to support foreign investors in major projects. Our province is committed to fully implementing the investment incentives regulated by the Government. Bac Giang is currently in its golden population period, with 1.2 million people of working age. The province also has competitive labor costs, thanks to laborers coming from Vietnam's northern and northwestern mountainous regions. We have 1 university, 4 colleges, 8 secondary vocational schools and 34 vocational training centers that meet the demand for high-quality vocational education. In the industrial sectors, our investment attraction targets are summarized as follows: 1-“no” (elimination of pollution), 2-“less” (less land and less labor use), 3-“high” (high technology, high return on capital, high economic efficiency) and 5 “preparedness” (land, human resources, employment environment, investors' support and effective control of the pandemic). We focus on calling for projects that have a high science and technology content, are heavily involved in the global supply chain, use land resources economically, apply environmentally friendly technologies and make a great contribution to the local government budget. In the agricultural sectors, we focus on looking for specialized, intensive and large-scale projects that apply high-tech and environmentally friendly agricultural methods, with the vision of creating large-scale concentrated agricultural production areas from the province's famous products. As for the trade - service sectors, we focus on entertainment, logistics, finance, insurance, medical services in the city of Bac Giang, and in urban areas and trade centers. We focus on first-class hotel projects as well as investment projects such as resorts in the Lang Giang, Luc Ngan  and Luc Nam areas. As for the tourism sector, we focus on investing in the following projects: Suoi Mo tourism district (Luc Nam District); Cam Son and Khuon Than lakes eco-tourism and resort area (Luc Ngan District); Tay Yen Tu entertainment, holiday and spiritual tourism area (Son Dong District); Mount Nham Bien (Yen Dung District); Construction of new golf courses in Viet Yen, Luc Nam and Lang Giang Regions, etc. Bac Giang Province Foreign Relations Unit is ready to answer the questions of the Turkish business community regarding investment opportunities in the province.
