ÇEMTAŞ was established in 1970 in the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone by a collaboration of industrialists, entrepreneurs, craftsmen, and the local community. Since its public listing on Borsa Istanbul in 1995, the company has continued its operations with the support of over 75,000 shareholders.

ÇEMTAŞ specializes in the production of special quality steels, including structural steels, carbon steels, bolt steels, carburizing steels, tempered steels, cold work tool steels, boron steels, micro-alloyed steels, free-cutting steels, stainless steels, and spring steels.

The company serves a wide range of industries such as automotive supply, wind energy, machinery manufacturing, and defense. With its signature stabilizer bar product, ÇEMTAŞ has also expanded into supplying directly to OEMs in the automotive sector, strengthening its presence in the industrial landscape.
