Eyüp Sabri Tuncer, born in 1898 in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, migrated to Turkey with his family and later participated in the Turkish War of Independence, receiving the Independence Medal. In 1923, he founded a retail store in Ankara offering a wide range of products including tailored shirts, hats, perfumes, and leather goods.
