GAD Industries is one of Egypt’s leading companies in the trading and manufacturing of low voltage electrical supplies, wiring devices, and lighting accessories, serving residential, service, and industrial sectors.

Founded in 1977 as a private limited trading company in downtown Cairo, the firm launched its first manufacturing facility in 1986 with an 8,000 m² plant. In 1997, it transformed into a public limited company with a capital of USD 10 million, integrating its production facility in 10th of Ramadan City, northeast of Cairo, covering over 30,000 m² and equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.

The company specializes in the production of miniature circuit breakers (under license from Kopp Germany), electric panel boards, weatherproof junction boxes, switches, socket outlets, wiring devices, as well as GLS light bulbs and fluorescent lamps.

GAD Industries also provides industrial services such as plastic injection moulds and press tools design and manufacturing for other factories, in addition to plastic injection and sheet metal forming services.

As the first Egyptian private company to manufacture such a range of products, and with major governmental authorities as its prime clients, GAD Industries has gained unique market experience and the capability to develop tailored products. Today, it is recognized as a leading player in the field, distributing its products at wholesale and retail levels, and supplying major housing and commercial projects domestically and internationally, with exports to countries including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Ethiopia.
