AVK Saudi Valves Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (AVK SVMC) was founded in 1985 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With more than three decades of solid experience, the company manufactures and supplies valves, fire hydrants, and a wide range of accessories for industrial and public utility services. Since its establishment, AVK SVMC has grown significantly and flourished in the market.
History and Development
• 1985: AVK SVMC entered into a partnership with Issa Bin Laden, from one of the Kingdom’s largest family-owned businesses.
• 2001: Partnership ended, AVK acquired Bin Laden’s shares, becoming the sole shareholder.
• 1990s: Production diversified to include fire hydrants, boosting both local and export markets.
• 1998: AVK opened an office in Dubai, UAE, to enhance GCC customer service.
• 1999: Began manufacturing more valves and hydrants (Series 24 wet barrel hydrants, Series 45 gate valves) to ANSI & UL/FM standards, securing ARAMCO approval to supply its sites.
• 2014: Expanded Jeddah factory to meet growing demand in the region.
Achievements
• Over 700,000 valves and 100,000 fire hydrants manufactured in Saudi Arabia.
• Yearly production increases aligned with the water and fire industry’s rapid growth.
