Five Star Flour Mills
Founded in 1995 as a joint venture between Egyptian and foreign investors, Five Star Flour Mills is located in the Attaqa Industrial Zone overlooking the Gulf of Suez, 140 km east of Cairo.
In 1998, the company commissioned its first fully computerized flour mill with a capacity of 450 tons/day. By 1999, a second line increased production to 1000 tons/day, and in 2001, a third line of 250 tons/day brought total daily output to 1250 tons, making it the largest flour mill in Egypt. All milling lines were installed by Buhler, Switzerland, the global leader in flour milling technology. Today, Five Star offers over 30 specialized and ready-mixed products, including household flour.
